Project Manager

Do you like to make sure things run smoothly? At DX Heroes, we're looking for a project manager to help us steer our ongoing projects and bring them to successful completion, whether it's planning, communicating with the client, or finding solutions when something gets stuck. You'll run projects for clients like Heureka, Česká spořitelna, and Apify. One day you're planning a sprint and watching the budget, the next you're working out scope and the next steps with the client. We're an AI-first company, so you complement the usual project management tools with AI (Claude, Cowork) and get more done with less effort.

What will your job be?

Your task will be to make sure all our ongoing projects run as they should, from the initial assignment to delivery to the customer. The core is project management, with two extensions: facilitating the team and taking care of the client, which means communication, preparing materials, and growing the partnership.

• Plan sprints, coordinate the team, and monitor task completion.
• Manage allocations and coordinate external collaborators (developers, consultants).
• Set realistic deadlines and keep them on track.
• Keep an eye on budget and logged hours against the estimate.
• Communicate with the client regularly: status, reporting, gathering requirements and feedback, managing expectations and scope.
• Prepare materials and deliverables for clients (presentations, reports, proposals).
• Proactively spot and prepare opportunities to expand work with existing clients (upsell).
• Lead team ceremonies such as stand-ups, plannings, or retrospectives.
• Use AI tools (Claude, Cowork) for reporting, preparing materials, and automating routine work.

What you won't have to handle

So it's fair from the start, these things are owned by someone else here:

• Cold acquisition of brand-new clients is led by the founders, you grow existing accounts.
• Deep development and solution architecture are handled by our developers and consultants.
• Invoicing, costs, and accounting are handled by operations and automation.

What do we expect from you?

• You have 2+ years of experience in IT project management.
• You're proficient in communicating with the team and the client and have no problem conveying technical information clearly.
• You can motivate the team and the people around you.
• You have excellent organizational skills and the drive to get things done.
• You're familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• You can work with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Linear, or Trello.
• You're not afraid of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Cowork), here they're part of the job, not a bonus.
• Your English is at least at B2 level.
• Based in Prague: 3–4 days a week you're with us at the office in Prague or at the client (usually Prague too), with the rest of your time flexible. This role isn't fully remote.

Who you'll work with 👥

You coordinate our developers and consultants (David, Miloš, Matyáš, and others) and work closely with Prokop (CEO), who owns sales and strategy. You're the one who holds the projects together and gets them across the line.

Reward offered
